Newly appointed head coach Maximus Dangles is looking for a good hard strong performance from the new look Stopouts in 2013. When asked what he thought it would take to win the game he said " I think the game will be won by the team that scores the most points" .

In the nine years since they entered the GC competition (including their first season when they were known as the Illawarra Smokers) the Brindabella Bluetongues have fielded a total of 193 players.

Given that this season's team is perhaps the most inexperienced and under-rated team of the lot, they'll go into the first game with a total of 7 debutants and of course that means that the 7th of these will be the 200th player to have played for the club and have it tattooed on his bum. The 7 debutants all debated over who the 7th was going to be, so the club decided to do it on player number order - therefore David Klemmer becomes player #200 - and if the spidercam dares get close enough to his size XXXXX bum, you may still notice the red swelling of th tattoo!

The full side is captained by Josh Dugan who as the most experienced Bluetongue, will be playing his 50th game for the club
