Wasn't aware of the Showers error but wasn't napping either. Just saw the overbid and it wasn't worth it to us to pay that much for a guy who may only be there for the next two weeks when we play games we don't have to win. But we'll take him at 100k

There was a promise in the eMail earlier in the week that the Showers coach was going to polish up on the rules for next season..

The Showers bid for Brenko Lee was inadmissible unfortunately as he already had a live bid in play and as per the rules, you can only have 1 bid live at any one time.

Showers bid on Angus Crichton was submitted on Monday 1st Aug at 21:32 (Decision time Tuesday 2nd Aug at 21:32 unless higher bid within final 30 mins)

Bears bid on Brenko Lee submitted 17:13 on Tuesday 2nd Aug with the Showers placing a bid at 17:55 on Tues 2nd Aug - 4hrs 37mins before bid on Crichton decided.

Sorry to the Showers - but Brenko Lee returns to the Bears

This is one Bear that doesn't usually get caught napping - hence no increased bid appeared.

We also would like to forgive Brenko Lee...for whatever it was, and offer more money
