The 2nd half has seen the Wineflies rocket home on the back of a Croker revival with his 16 points helping to give their forwards the grit to come home strong.

As the recounts took place, the Aardvark's Papalli was stripped of a single hitup to drop to 39 & lose his FT whilst a bit of extra work has been found for the Wineflies Horo to put him on the even 40 and now a FT .... an 8 point turn around.

Current score 48-47 .... Will it change before the Auditors have signed off ...

With Croker stilll in play (as we speak) - anything could happen... and also would be surprised if we don't need more points than we have at the moment to take the trophy.

But we're happy with the start we've had....

Well congrats to the Ardvarks. Yes we are conceding already. We haven't showed up when it counted. Not one try yet after 5 games. Extremely disappointed in our lot.

Aardvarks vs the Wineflies and we shared the spoils in the Round games with 1 game a piece followed by a Preliminary Final victory to the Aardvarks in a high scoring affair 64-60 ... So obviously we are hoping the final series games are not shared like the round games were... Closely matched all season - the GC GF is shaping up as a classic between twos ides who have hit form at the right end of the season.

Captain Greg Inglis will be in the box with coach Cyril Sneer leaving Cameron Munster take over the #1 jersey for the game and with Jamie Soward still snoring - emergency recruit Luke Kelly comes in to take over the #6 jersey and also the GK responsibilities in front of Tyrone Roberts.
